Raspberry Pi User Guide Quick and Easy Guides Book 1 eBook John Lewis
Not much in there, and the author spends way too much time telling us the obvious. Like three pages to convince us that twice the RAM, an ethernet socket, and an extra USB socket is worth the extra ten bucks.By contrast, re using the Pi for remote control, he says only "Simply hookup with VNC ..," Huh? How? What is it? Control what?

Raspberry Pi User Guide Quick and Easy Guides Book 1 eBook John Lewis Reviews
This short book gives you a brief intro to the raspberry pi computer. When finish, you will have a basic understanding of the device.
Good introduction, and handy format.
This information is out on the web, but here
it is in a handy place. But the book and a pi.
This guide is novel in that it packs a lot of info into a very few pages. Easy to read and understand. Thanks to the author who makes it seem anyone can do this; even a novice like me and my grandson!
This book is not for someone who are techy or at least have some ideas about bits and bytes. This is a book for people who are completely new to the board and feels hard to grasp smallest information of it. The information in the book is the normal information that is available anywhere on the web but it is accumulated in this book in a very nice way so that any laymen person can also understand it better. I would call it the Raspberry Pi Kick Start User Guide.
I bought this along with a new Raspberry Pi. I purchased other books as well, all in kindle version. The information was correct, easy to locate and follow. However, it overlaps with other books and so in hind sight I might have passed and just purchased the User Guide.
"The quick and easy guide to raspberry pi" is utterly useless. The book provides commonly known information and resources that can be found by typing "raspberry pi" in a search engine (quiet literally, take a look at the wiki page). Most pages throughout the book are half written, sometimes only containing a few lines of text. Other pages contain dyagrams outlining the perifrial schematics of the raspberry pi. The only positive atribute of this product is the price. I would not reorder the copy I have; though, I wouldn't through it away either.
This is a great book to help decide if you would like to purchase a pi or start to become an expert pi user and everything in between. Enjoy.
